   proof.css — the one stylesheet the proof surfaces link
   ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
       <link rel="stylesheet" href="src/shared/proof/proof.css" />

   WHY ONE FILE THAT @IMPORTS, RATHER THAN EIGHT <link>s.
   The parts stay separately readable and separately editable — each sheet is
   documented next to the module it dresses — but a page names ONE stylesheet,
   so adding a module later does not mean editing every page's <head> and
   cannot leave one page a sheet behind. `@import` is already how this repo
   composes shared CSS (see src/shared/stepper.css's header), it needs no build
   step, and the depth is two: the browser fetches proof.css, then the parts in
   parallel. The cost is one extra round trip on a cold load, for a page that
   is fetching a chart's worth of JSON anyway.

   ORDER MATTERS. motion.css first: it declares the `--mrd-*` eases, `--pf-r-4`
   and every keyframe the others animate through, plus reduced-motion layer 1.
   The rest are independent, and each carries its own reduced-motion layer 2.

   This sheet loads AFTER src/shared/tokens.css + tokens-dark.css (which own
   every colour, including the proof-local `--pf-trough` / `--pf-raised` pair)
   and AFTER src/shared/shell.css (the site chrome). It styles nothing outside
   the `pf-` prefix, the two ticker classes (`price-ticker`, `ticking`, kept at
   Meridian's own names so the port is greppable) and `.reveal`.
